2. Dandruff is white scaly flaks on scalp, neck, shoulders and eye brows. This is common problem in tropical countries having extreme climatic conditions like rain, heat and cold. This is common in either sex and all age groups.

3. What is Dandruff ? Scalp will have sebaceous glands which secrete an oily substance called Sebum in the process of excretion. ( Ayurveda says it as upamala of Kesa ) and it is a continuous process throughout life.

4. That is the reason why even if you don’t apply oil to your scalp also, still you feel when you move out in sultry environment for 1 hour or more. Actually it is a myth that applying oil increases Dandruff. Even if you don’t apply also you suffer.
