4. We are opened from 7.45 am to 4.45 pm so
you can come to the library before school,
during your first break or lunch and after
school.
Please do NOT visit the library during your
second short break as this falls during the
High School Lunch Period and the library is
usually very crowded then.

What’s in the Library
7. There are 3 different types of FICTION in the
Main Library. These are:
◦ Graded Readers (GR)
◦ F (Teen Reads)
◦ YA (Young Adult)
YA books are for Grade 9 students and
older. However, if you are in Grade 7 or 8
and you want to read a YA book, you may

You’re allowed to have 4 books out at any
one time (inclusive of 2 VCDs or DVDs)
Textbooks are NOT included in this loan limit

Magazines (Back issues) are loaned out for 3
days

9. You can return all items borrowed at the
counter. Hand the item over and then wait.
The library staff will tell you when your item
is clear.
You can renew an item as many times as you
like provided:
◦ You bring the item to the library each time you
want to renew &
◦ No one else has reserved the item.
Any item that is returned late will be charged a
fine of 20 cents per day until the item is returned.
