Bagaimana mengukur ketercapaian
SO?
• Alat pengukuran:
• Rubric kuliah: merepresentasikan langsung capaian siswa
dalam suatu outcome untuk suatu kuliah
• Kuesioner kuliah: pengukuran tidak langsung, berdasarkan
persepsi siswa yang menilai aspek pengajar kuliah, dan
pemahaman mereka terhadap topik kuliah (bagian kedua
yang digunakan untuk pengukuran SO)
• Exit Survey: diberikan kepada wisudawan, untuk menilai
sendiri capaian mereka terhadap SO
• Masing-masing diberikan nilai 1 (E) – 5 (A)
• 5 adalah nilai terbaik

Rencana pengukuran SO
• Pengukuran SO minimal dilakukan dalam 3 semester perkuliahan,
misal Prodi IF melakukan di:
• Semester II 2011/2012
• Semester I 2012/2013
• Semester II 2012/2013
• Tidak harus dilakukan pada semua kuliah, namun lebih baik jika
dapat dilakukan untuk semua kuliah yang ditawarkan
• Harus ada minimal 2 semester yang memberikan kuliah yang
sama, agar dapat diukur perbandingan capaian antar 2 semester
tersebut  mengetahui apakah terjadi continuous improvement
• Inti dari akreditasi ABET adalah terlaksananya continuous
improvement

2011/2012 untuk SO (a):
• Most of the students are able to apply their knowledge in
computing and mathematics to solve problem using logical
representation approach. More exercise is encouraged to
be carried out in order to develop their competencies.
• Hasil evaluasi kuliah Logika Informatika di Sem II
2012/2013 untuk SO (a):
• By giving more practices to students, the achievement
of this outcome is improved from last year achievement.
Modest improvement is required by giving special tutorial for
students who need it.

Lanjutan Proses Akreditasi ABET
• Setelah Prodi melakukan assessment planning, Prodi mendaftarkan
RFE (Request for Evaluation) ke ABET
• ABET melakukan proses akreditasi selama 18 bulan:
• Review kesiapan Prodi & Melengkapi request for Approval
• Melengkapi Self Study Report
• On-site Visit oleh pihak ABET ke Prodi
• Perbaikan hasil on-site visit selama 30 hari
• Hasil keputusan & pengumuman
• Proses selanjutnya (optional) : perbaikan program, pemberitahuan ke
ABET jika Prodi melakukan perubahan yang berpengaruh pada ABET
compliances, dll
• Reevaluasi Prodi oleh ABET setidaknya 6 tahun sekali, namun jika
diperlukan bisa dilakukan reevaluasi sebelum 6 tahun berikutnya.

Penutup
• Akreditasi “mengharuskan” Prodi untuk selalu
menjaga kualitas kurikulum, dan melakukan
perbaikan terus menerus
• Semua proses dan data harus tercatat, terukur,
dan jelas tahapan monitoring dan evaluasi nya
• Kurikulum harus selalu mengacu pada azas
kebermanfaatan untuk masyarakat

  • 8. 8 KK - Informatika Assessment Planning • 2008: Tim Akreditasi Internasional IF-ITB • Evaluasi proses pendidikan yang sedang berjalan: • Hasil evaluasi: sulit mengisi self study report / adanya kesenjangan antara proses pendidikan yang terjadi dengan kriteria ABET • Merekomendasikan perbaikan agar sesuai standar internasional • 2012: Persiapan Self Study Report (SSR) Final • Target pendaftaran akreditasi: 2013 • Bidang akreditasi: Computer Science (Computing)

  • 18. 18 KK - Informatika Bagaimana mengukur ketercapaian SO? • Alat pengukuran: • Rubric kuliah: merepresentasikan langsung capaian siswa dalam suatu outcome untuk suatu kuliah • Kuesioner kuliah: pengukuran tidak langsung, berdasarkan persepsi siswa yang menilai aspek pengajar kuliah, dan pemahaman mereka terhadap topik kuliah (bagian kedua yang digunakan untuk pengukuran SO) • Exit Survey: diberikan kepada wisudawan, untuk menilai sendiri capaian mereka terhadap SO • Masing-masing diberikan nilai 1 (E) – 5 (A) • 5 adalah nilai terbaik
  • 19. 19 KK - Informatika Rencana pengukuran SO • Pengukuran SO minimal dilakukan dalam 3 semester perkuliahan, misal Prodi IF melakukan di: • Semester II 2011/2012 • Semester I 2012/2013 • Semester II 2012/2013 • Tidak harus dilakukan pada semua kuliah, namun lebih baik jika dapat dilakukan untuk semua kuliah yang ditawarkan • Harus ada minimal 2 semester yang memberikan kuliah yang sama, agar dapat diukur perbandingan capaian antar 2 semester tersebut  mengetahui apakah terjadi continuous improvement • Inti dari akreditasi ABET adalah terlaksananya continuous improvement

This tutorial can not be given in class since most of the students are not having this problem.
  • 26. 26 KK - Informatika Contoh hasil evaluasi di 2 semester • Hasil evaluasi kuliah Logika Informatika di Sem II 2011/2012 untuk SO (a): • Most of the students are able to apply their knowledge in computing and mathematics to solve problem using logical representation approach. More exercise is encouraged to be carried out in order to develop their competencies. • Hasil evaluasi kuliah Logika Informatika di Sem II 2012/2013 untuk SO (a): • By giving more practices to students, the achievement of this outcome is improved from last year achievement. Modest improvement is required by giving special tutorial for students who need it.
  • 27. 27 KK - Informatika Contoh grafik hasil Pengukuran • Contoh untuk SO (a) yaitu An ability to apply knowledge of computing and mathematics appropriate to the discipline yang diukur dengan Exit Survey, Kuesioner Siswa, dan Rubric • Dari grafik terlihat, hasil pengukuran pada kuliah melalui rubric, dan persepsi mahasiswa mengenai kemampuan dirinya, konsisten di daerah “substantially developed”
  • 28. 28 KK - Informatika Lanjutan Proses Akreditasi ABET • Setelah Prodi melakukan assessment planning, Prodi mendaftarkan RFE (Request for Evaluation) ke ABET • ABET melakukan proses akreditasi selama 18 bulan: • Review kesiapan Prodi & Melengkapi request for Approval • Melengkapi Self Study Report • On-site Visit oleh pihak ABET ke Prodi • Perbaikan hasil on-site visit selama 30 hari • Hasil keputusan & pengumuman • Proses selanjutnya (optional) : perbaikan program, pemberitahuan ke ABET jika Prodi melakukan perubahan yang berpengaruh pada ABET compliances, dll • Reevaluasi Prodi oleh ABET setidaknya 6 tahun sekali, namun jika diperlukan bisa dilakukan reevaluasi sebelum 6 tahun berikutnya.
  • 29. 29 KK - Informatika Penutup • Akreditasi “mengharuskan” Prodi untuk selalu menjaga kualitas kurikulum, dan melakukan perbaikan terus menerus • Semua proses dan data harus tercatat, terukur, dan jelas tahapan monitoring dan evaluasi nya • Kurikulum harus selalu mengacu pada azas kebermanfaatan untuk masyarakat
