Valmiera Joint Library a bridge between academic world and local society . It has become a recognizable cultural and educational centre in the Vidzeme region. Library is a place where one can meet friends, like-minded people, spend time with family or alone. Valmiera Joint Library invites everyone to open mind for new knowledge, ideas, experience, it provides not only books, but also events where can meet interesting personalities, famous writers and creative people .
For example: a parent selecting a picture book for their three year old; a home owner seeking planning advice on a proposed extension; a student researching 17th Century conflict on the internet, and a carer seeking advice on benefits. All of these users could in fact be a single individual, using services currently located in up to five locations across the City.
