Using TWO of the following works in your text, and two that you have selected from the show, please complete the
following assignment.

22-19 Michelangelo, Creation of Adam
22-21 Michelangelo, Last Judgement


Find two works in the gallery and list the artists name and the title of the work. Please leaf through any material
available or otherwise research the artists to gather as much contextual background information as possible.

For each comparison you must write the following:

First indicate what pictorial conventions, ideas, or themes have remained unchanged, and is possibly shared by the

sentences minimum for each one.

Second, indicate what has changed, and how the two works diverge. Describe the historical and cultural context that
they has given rise to each work and how prevailing attitudes or ideas have shaped the content of the images.

one.
