- What’s in it for your audience? Explain why your topic is important or worth discussing. There may be some people or group of people that experience the malpractice of the Stop and Frisk Law more than others, however, no citizen is exempt form the potential malpractice and the examples and data I provide will show how we all are effected by the abuse of use of this law.
- Why should your audience listen to you? Explain your ethos (credibility). My audience should listen to me because I have first hand experience of how this law can allow police to violate rights and I have seen the impact on the relationship between the residents of a neighborhood and the local police force.
