From February 27 – 28, 2014, we.CONECT invited an international audience of global Executives,
Managing Directors, Heads and Managers coming from companies of the chemical and petrochemical
industry to the Global ManuChem Strategies conference in Berlin.
More than 80 attendees gathered to discuss current challenges, new approaches and future trends in
the field of manufacturing excellence, operations management, asset management and process safety
in chemical operations. Participants, speakers and business partners took part in a highly interactive
conference and used this opportunity to share experiences, network, benchmark and exchange ideas
as well as best practices.
Review of the Global ManuChem Strategies 2014:
 More than 80 participants from over 45 companies from all over Europe and the USA
discussed future challenges and latest approaches in chemical operations.
 25+ high level Case Studies were presented by companies such as Dow, BP, Bayer, BASF,
Linde, Evonik, DSM and many more.
 This conference was rated with an average of 1,4 , where 1 stands for the highest and 5 the
