2. ABOUT
Plantaero is a business in the sales and supply of household plants with health benefits. Our
household plants are plants that keep the indoor air clean and pollution free by absorbing
excess carbon di oxide and many other pollutants in homes and offices, thereby
contributing to a balance internal humidity.
In homes and offices, various toxins are present in the air and this often makes the air in
these places stale and dry. The effect is a syndrome called “Sick Building” which is an acute
incidence of indoor air pollution that can occur in closed or poorly ventilated offices and
residences. Exposure to these kinds of offices and residences results in multiple symptoms of
sickness exhibited by the inhabitants who try to use them, hence the term Sick Building. However,
the good news is that some plants are capable of ridding the air of pollutants and toxins,
counteracting out gassing and contributing to balanced internal humidity. These are the
plants we offer.

3. The Areca can be counted on to keep
your home or office moist during dry
times and continuously remove
chemical toxins from the air. Though
the plant grows slowly and needs
year-round care, it can be kept
anywhere in the house, especially
next to newly varnished furniture or
in carpeted areas. This plant removes
xylene and toluene from the air, but
also happens to convert a lot of CO2
(carbon dioxide) to O2 (oxygen)
during the daytime. They need to
have dust and grime wiped off of
their leaves once a week, or as often
as daily if you live in a city with very
bad air quality.

4. Rubber plants excel at removing
chemical toxins (especially
formaldehyde) from indoor air,
requiring less light than many other
plants and outperforming all other
ficuses. It receives high marks in all
categories and is an excellent
overall houseplant. Of the ficus
plants tested to date, the rubber
plant is the best for removing
chemical toxins from the indoor
Rubber plant environment. This plant can be kept
(Ficus robusta.) best in semi-sun to semi-shade.
Aloe is a popular plant because of
its many medical properties/health
benefits. Aloe vera also has air
purifying properties; filtering
various gas emissions from
dangerously claim materials.
House plants
benefit our indoor
spaces not only by
converting carbon
dioxide to oxygen
but also by
absorbing many
Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis)
pollutants
5. Spatiphyllum (Peace Lilly) is an
indoor houseplant that helps in
the remover of benzene
(Carcinogen) and formaldehyde.
Peace Lilly is a great pollution
fighter and air purifier. It is also
easy to maintain spatiphyllum.
peace lilly
(Spathiphyllum sp.)
The Ficus alli is a magnificent
large plant, its ability to help
purify the air, ease of growth
and resistance to insects make
it an excellent choice for the
home or office. This plant can
be kept best in full sun and
semi-sun.Ficus alli is a fine
addition to any home or office
where clean air is lacking
The ficus alii ( Ficus
macleilandii)
6. Dracaena Marginata Dracaena sp.
Draceana are popular house plants that need little
attention, They help remove benzene, formaldehyde,
xylene and toluene from the air. They cannot tolerate
direct sunlight but they do well in fairly indirectly lit
areas. They are more susceptible to becoming damaged
from over watering than infrequent watering.
Today, we can see the effect of global warming and
pollution on human health as well as on plants. Why not
visit Plantaero today and decorate your house with some
life-saver plants?
7. The Date palm tree (Phoenix
roebelinii) is a very effective and
elegant-looking way to both liven
up the look of a room and lower the
concentration of chemical toxins
floating around in the air.The palm
usually reaches a maximum height
of 5 to 6 ½ ft. However, it is a very
slow grower. When its
environmental needs are met, the
date palm can survive for decades.
It is one of the best palms for
removing indoor air pollutants and
is especially effective for the
Date palm tree ( Phoenix roebelinii) removal of xylene. This plant can be
kept best in semi-sun.
Boston Fern (Nephrolepis exalta.)
The Boston Fern is an exotic plant that has gracefully arching
fronds and frilly leaves, the Boston fern also acts as a natural
humidifier. Boston ferns grow better in filtered sunlight and
in humid conditions. By releasing moisture into the air, they
remove nasty air pollutants such as benzene, formaldehyde
and xylene, and provide clean air inside the home. It must
have frequent misting and watering or the leaves will quickly
turn brown and begin to drop.
8. o Chrysanthemums can remove
benzene molecules present in
the air due to plastics,
detergents, tobacco smoke or
synthetic materials used in the
home. In addition, the flowering
plant helps purify the air of
trichloroethylene.
The major benefit of adding
oxygen producing plants to your
living room and work space is an
increase of productivity due to
Pot Mums
the maintenance of healthy
(Chrysanthemum sp.)
oxygen levels in the blood.
Fast growing houseplant with good
all round air cleaning properties and
particularly effective in humidifying
air conditioned interiors. They are
easy to grow and with proper care,
leaves of up to 45cm (18") across
can be achieved!
The ratio of oxygen to other molecules in
the Earth's atmosphere has been dropping
over several decades. The majority of this
problem is due to air pollution increasing
and less to the fact that the forests and
Swiss cheese ( Monstera jungles of the world are being reduced by
delicosa) clear cutting .Areas of higher pollution,
such as cities, have a lower percentage of
oxygen in the air
9. The spider plant is great at
removing poisonous gases as well
as other impurities like
formaldehyde and xylene. For
better effect, it should be kept in
the kitchen or near the fireplace as
these are the places where carbon
monooxide accumulates a lot.
Spider Plants (Chlorophytum
comosum)
The snake plant is unique for its ability
to convert a lot of CO2 (carbon
dioxide) to O2 (oxygen) at night,
making it ideal to have several in your
bedroom. 6-8 waist high plants are
needed per person to survive if there is
no air flow (meaning you could live in a
completely air sealed room if you had
these plants and the Areca Palms
present). The snake plant also removes
formaldehyde from the air
Plantaero offers plants that remove airborne toxins
Mother-in-Law’s Tongue (Sansevieria commonly found in new homes, offices, and/or sick-
Laurentii) buildings. Toxins may include formaldehyde, benzene, and
trichloroethylene.
