3. The child in this photo is in mid-air, and the photo is still in focus. You can see the movement all over her body, but especially in her hair.
4. The next example uses the burst option, and includes the next three slides. It shows my graceful subject performing a cartwheel. The timing was a challenge, however, it does show beginning, middle, and end.

7. The following three slides are another example using the burst option. The photos show three cupcake papers being filled. After many tries, the shutter button was pressed at the precise moment.

10. The subject in this photo is running at his fastest speed. One of the photo tips I came across, was to focus on the subject’s face in order to capture a look of concentration.
11. This photo shows my third graders enjoying an experiment in which they made ice cream. It shows action and also captures their faces. As a side note, the date on the photo is incorrect.
