The research group MILLEE aims at implementing a human-centered approach in building immersive, enjoyable, language learning games on cell phones modeled after traditional village games that rural children find familiar. The project was to design and develop mobile games solving various research questions the group encountered in there last field study. These games were developed for Flash Lite and Brew Supported phones and were later deployed in a field testing in India. 9. Login page Destiny A browser based chat application Recognition of chatting activities in social interactions is useful for constructing human social networks. This Project aims at designing a browser based chat application using an immersive gaming model. This application uses the real world scenario of friend making to generate a virtual model and use it to make chatting more immersive and exciting experience. This chat application calculates your odds of meeting a person online based on the probability which is decided by the compatibility calculated between the two chatting parties. The compatibility is calculated in real time based on the understanding a user gains about his chatting partner as well as the interest shown by the users during the chatting. The Application is built using Flash Media server, Flash Actionscript , PHP and MySQL for database. We have used an iterative design process by testing the application several times in IIT campus. The interface is made adaptive using fluid Layouts. Home Page

The map is explored as the game proceeds. It started with making an algorithm to generate maps considering shortest path algorithm using different permutations of cities and then story boarding the game. The maps are disclosed to participants in steps during the game depending building a immersive behavior through surprise element. The game and its back ground question bank evolved as a result of endless group discussions, dry runs and continuous improvements. Finally the game interface was made in on flash using an interactive user centered design process.
