This presentation discusses the issue of female foeticide and infanticide in India. It notes that the practice of killing female fetuses in the womb has been followed for ages in India despite women once being described as goddesses there. Poverty, gender discrimination, lack of education, and future speculation about marriage and dowry costs are cited as causes. The presentation urges stopping this "evil" practice in the name of humanity and concludes that educating both the educated and uneducated is needed to end female infanticide.

The term female foeticide
means killing the female
foetus in the mother's
womb.
The practice has been
followed in India for ages,
a country that once
described its women as
godessess.
For this reason, Indian
women will soon get
extinct.

4. People love to have a “MOTHER”
People love to have a “WIFE”
People love to have a “SISTER”
People love to have a “GIRL FRIEND”
too,
Then why not a daughter?
5. It is said that God created Mothers
because He could not be present
everywhere.
But its unbelievable to realize that God’s
representatives is continuously killing
someone beautiful even before she can
come out and see the beauty of the
nature.
6. India is one the few countries where
selective sex gender bias exists till today.
It is believed that every year 12 million
girls are born in the country but
unfortunately only 1/3 of those survive.
Some were killed in the womb, some at
the time of birth, some due to ill health
and some due to poor nutritional status.
7. India is growing dynamically in every field,
today the rapid growth in economy,
innovative technologies, and improved
infrastructure has become nation’s pride.
But bias against the girl child is still
prevailing in the country.
The most shocking fact is that the
innovative and the hard high end
technologies like biopsy, ultrasound, ultra
scan are brutally killing the Indian girl
child.
8. We Indians call our nation, Mother India
and are great devotees of Goddess in
various manifestations.
But we all are openly playing double
standard games with our country as well
as our Goddess.
One end we say that we worship Maa
Saraswathi, Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi and
at the other end we are continuously
destroying the precious gift of nature, a
girl child.

Let us stop this EVIL Female Foeticide,

11. ConclusionConclusion
It is the responsibility of the Educated
generation to stir a revolution for saving

well as the uneducated ignorants who
commits such crimes as female infanticide.
