Job Profile:
MAINTENA NCE PLANNING:
 Planning the preventive/corrective/shutdown work orders with duration, manpower, material, tools
and support services required for executing the job.
 Planning routine, preventive, shutdown maintenance, repairs & plant modification activities
according to the maintenance strategy
 Making material reservations (MR), purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO).
 Attending daily /weekly meeting with Operation & Maintenance supervisors and supporting teams
to solve day today problems and necessary arrangements of work execution.
 Follow up on work progress & follow up the Purchase Request for availability and timely delivery of
non-stock items, spare parts, consumables ,reviewing the stock levels
 Preparing, monitoring, analyzing and issue the job progress/status reports and performance
reports
 Preparing maintenance management reports including KPI reports, monthly activity report,
monthly plant/major rotary equipment availability/reliability report, monthly backlog report and
weekly forward planning bar chart/report.
 Updating technical data, manpower, time taken, spare parts used, equipments details, maintain
equipment history and keeping documentation.
 Cost estimation and controlling of direct and indirect manpower and materials.
TURNAROUND SHUTDOWN PLANNING:
 Preparing and compiling specifications and procedures, scope of work preparation, equipment
specific shutdown work packages, detailed activity planning& scheduling.
 Estimating the shutdown duration, manpower, material and tools required.
 Preparing and scheduling planned and unplanned shutdown works.
 Scheduling the activities of static/rotary equipment’s using Primavera 6.7 (columns, vessels,
various type of exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, boiler, reactors, heaters, flare, turbine,
compressor pumps, motors, various type of valves and instruments)
 Involving in shutdown budgets preparation, developing Shutdown Milestone schedules.
 Preparing the overall Shutdown and Pre-Shutdown execution plans in line with the Work List and
Refinery Shut down Schedule, in coordination with other concerns Departments.
 Developing turnaround detail plan with focus on optimum utilization of manpower, material and
production targets.
 Providing direction to shutdown planners and coordinating the shutdown related works with other
discipline (Electrical & Instrument) planners
 Monitoring & controlling the execution activities (Piping and structural fabrication, Welding, NDT,
Scaffolding, Insulation, Rigging, Cleaning, Hydro jetting, Hydro testing, blasting & painting,
Refractory, Valve servicing, Civil , Electrical, Instrumentation works), update the plans on a daily
basis with relevant reports as required and suggest timely corrective action for achieving Shutdown
objectives.
 Liaise with Safety, Operations, Maintenance, inspection and other departments to ensure the safe
and effective execution of the Shutdown Project.
 Preparation and presenting detailed planning information (Gantt chart, histograms, PERT charts,
activity networks, Critical Path, milestones, WBS, Baseline schedules, Look ahead schedules,
Project progress measurement ”S” curve and progress reports, emergent work report, KPI reports)
 Archives equipment Inspection reports ,repair histories, shutdown manpower & cost, materials and
analyzing the data
 Preparing presentations for Shutdown execution and Close out report with lessons learned.
EPC PROJECT PLANNING:
 Generating project Schedules and associated resource forecasting.
 Preparation of planning dossier which contains various project control procedures like Work
Breakdown Structure, planning & scheduling, progress measurement, progress review & reporting
etc.
 Preparing integrated plan for multidiscipline projects.
 Monitoring and measuring progress of engineering, Procurement and Construction.
 Monitoring sub-contractor daily productivity, controlling and recording day-to-day activities.
 Analyzing progress status, identify potential delays, risks their impact and workaround.
 Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Report and look ahead Schedules.
 Preparing project resource /cost matrix report, various management reports.
 Reviewing and assessing contractor's variations/claims for schedule impact.

Job Profile:
 Preparation of cost estimation for tank repair as per scope of client.
 Work schedule and prepare activities for repairing of tank as per STD API 653.
 Work Break Down Structure, progress measurement procedure and assigning of
weighted values for each activity as per SOW.
 Preparation of Man-hours and S –curves.
 Identifying the requirements and priorities in coordination with the Project team.
 Monitoring & control the man-hours for the assigned project.
 Coordinates with the sub-contractor for jacking of shell up to 500mm for bottom
plate’s replacement.
 Review of details for jack up and submission of documents (jack location drawing,
Methodology of jack up) to ESD for review & approval.
 Verifies materials and products compliance to the quality standards by executing the
specified inspection requirements as per Std API 650.
 All fabrication work involving material identification, marking, cutting and welding shall
be done in accordance with this job procedure API 650. The workmanship shall be
good in every respect meeting all safety, QC & NDT requirements, with the
coordination of In-Charge-Engineer.
 Coordinate with Quality control Engineer regarding of welding consumables,
Parameters, Preheating and Interpass temperature control, PWHT etc.
 Review of Drawing against customers Spec & code requirements.
 Before submission of technical documents, Review MTC, ITP, WPS, and PQR prior to
the commencement of fabrication activities for Replacement of Bottom Plates & shell
door sheet.
 Co-ordination with client inspectors (ESD) consultants and contractor.
 Inspection of all concerned activities for Plate fit up, root pass, Fillet & Final pass and
documentation for performance of hydro testing.
 Perform incoming material inspection according to drawing and quality standards.
 Implementation of all QC daily activities and related works.
 Coordinate & witness NDT, review of reports and procedure.
 Performed external and top roof visual inspection and witnessing Hydro testing of
Storage tanks as per STD API-653 procedure by Client KJO (FMD & ESD).

Job Profile:
 Identifying the requirements and priorities in coordination with the Project team.
 Explain the site situation, technical requirements, project specifications, special engineering
instructions, coordination procedures, execution approach and activity priorities to the various work
teams, and seeks contributions for further refinement.
 Superintend that various work groups (including quality and safety personnel) are carrying out
each tasks and test/inspection in accordance with specifications and standards as per the
contractual requirements.
 Assist in resolving engineering issues at site, coordinating with the respective engineering support

Charge regarding future sub-contractor qualifications.
