The following proposal outlines the campaign created by ViewMARK Communications to secure naming rights and funding for an amphitheater in Mobile, Alabama.
2. Event Pavilion Proposal
Background
Medal of Honor Park in Mobile, Alabama is a
gathering place for sports teams, joggers, dog
walkers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds.
Bordered by towering pine trees, the park
offers athletic fields, a playground, a disc golf
course and acres of open park space to meet
the needs of the growing community in West
Mobile.
Council Member Connie Hudson
(District 6) would like to add an Event Pavilion
to the list of amenities available at the
park. To make this project a reality, Hudson
is seeking a community partner to match
existing project funds in exchange for naming
opportunities for the pavilion.
Sample Pavilion Designs
Details:
• Approximately 2500 square feet
• Stage Lighting
• Sound Equipment
• Handicap Accessible
• Easy Access Parking
When a sponsor is found, the
Event Pavilion would be home to
stage productions, concerts, and
other community events – further
enhancing the city’s quality of life.
3. Event Pavilion Proposal
Event Pavilion
With sponsorship assistance, the
Event Pavilion will be located on
a cleared, parcel of land at the
park. Construction would not
require removal of existing trees.
With forest as a backdrop,
performers would find the venue
an ideal setting for presenting a
variety of productions. Visitors
would enjoy events from a
landscaped lawn area perfect for
blankets and lawn chairs.
Proposed Site
Events Medal of Honor Park is already home to many popular
events and festivals that would center many of their
activities at the Event Pavilion. Construction of the
venue would draw additional events to the park including
concerts, movies, theater productions and other
community events.
