The Convention on the Rights of the Child outlines the basic human rights that all children below the age of 18 should enjoy. It recognizes children's rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. Thailand ratified the Convention in 1992 and has translated it into Thai to promote awareness and implementation of children's rights.
