I am Happy

                I am Happy I am happy because I always choose the right moment.
                              I am happy because I am a good listener.
                             I am happy because I keep my voice down.
                         I am happy because I do not try to convince others.
                                I am happy because I do not complain.
                     I am happy because I do not do two things at the same time.
                 I am happy because I never think of two objects at the same time.
          I am happy because I have realised the truth that the most important thing in
                                       my life is self-improvement.
                 I am happy because I unreservedly accentuate the good in others.
            I am happy because I have considerably cut down on my desiring needs.
              I am happy because I follow my thought-control programme every day.
                                    I am happy because I never quit.
              I am happy because every day I purify my heart by offering my heart of
                                   gratitude to the Absolute Supreme.
                  I am happy because I know that my love of purity works wonders.
             I am happy because of a soulful daily prayer of mine, and that prayer is:

                                      “O Beloved Supreme,
                                  O Eternity’s Pilot Supreme,
                                     Do transform the world
                                Starting with me, my life, my all.”



I am happy because every day I cry and cry to see the Real in me. The Real in
me is my oneness divine, unreserved and unconditional, with the Will of my
Beloved Supreme.
I am happy not because I am for my Supreme Pilot, not because my Supreme Pilot
is for me, but because my Supreme Pilot eternally is. His very existence here on
earth, there in Heaven, is my satisfaction. When I try to have Him for myself, I
pull Him into my desire-life. But when I am for Him, I carry my desire-life into
Him. In no way do I want to bind my Beloved Supreme. From now on my
satisfaction, my supreme satisfaction, will lie only in my discovery of the fact
that He alone eternally is.

The Value of Time

The Value of Time
Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400.
It carries over no balance from day to day.
Every evening deletes whatever balance you failed to use during the day.
What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!
Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.
Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever you have failed to invest.
It carries over no balance.
It allows no overdraft.
Each day it opens a new account for you.
Each night it burns the remains of the day.
If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours.
There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow".
You must live in the present on today's deposits.
Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success!
The clock is running. Make the most of today.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a pre-mature
baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE DAY, ask a daily wage laborer with kids to feed.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask who just avoided an accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLI-SECOND, ask the person who won a silver
medal in the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared
it with someone special, special enough to spend your time.
And remember that time waits for no one.

       The 10 Things in Life That You Control
Are you controlling them or vice-versa? (Inspirational)

We humans spend much of our time trying to control every aspect of our lives.
Unfortunately, too often we try and control things that are simply beyond our
control. The list of what we can control is quite short, but once you know these
10 things you will be able to take control of your own life.

1. What you do.
Your actions are yours alone. You choose to make them or not make them and you
are responsible for the effects of those actions.
2. What you say.
Likewise, the words you speak (or write) are also consciously chosen. Like
actions, they have an impact on your life and the lives of those you contact.
3. What you think.
Yes, there are some subconscious thoughts that you can't control. But the
things that you really think about, your beliefs, your ideals, etc. are concepts
you have chosen to accept and believe in.
4. Your work.
Many people like to overlook this one, it being much easier to say "Oh, I'm
trapped in my job because I don't have a degree, experience, etc."
Hogwash! That's simple a way of denying one's responsibility in having chosen
the job in the first place. It's your job and you chose it. If you stay (or go),
that's a choice as well.
5. The people you associate with.
There's a famous t-shirt that states: "It's hard to soar like an eagle when
you're surrounded by turkeys." Colloquial is very often correct! Your circle can
either lift you up or bring you down. You make the decision which type of
friends you wish to have.
6. Your basic physical health.
Much about our health is a factor of genetics, environment, and exposure. Much
more of our health is simply a matter of the decisions we make about our health,
such as: diet, exercise, drugs, sleep, routine physicals, check-ups, etc.
7. The environment you live in.
Your house, the condition of your home, the town you live in, the amenities
available to you are all things you can control, although some to a lesser
degree (i.e., you decide to tolerate them or move someplace else).
8. Your fiscal situation.
Having or not having enough money is a factor of what you make versus what you
spend.
9. Your time.
You choose how to "spend" your time and how much of your time to give to
various activities. You'll never get more time than the 24 hours your given each
day.
10. Your legacy.
All your actions, words, and knowledge that you share while you are living
become the gift that you leave when you are gone.



        Ten Misconceptions We Have About Success
                      (Inspirational)

How we think of success often determines just how successful we become. As in
most areas of life, the thing that limits us the most is often ourselves. See if
you have any of the hang-ups below that might be blocking you from achieving all
the success that awaits you.

1. Some people can't be successful.

Anybody can be successful. You have to want to... then you've got to do what it
takes to achieve it.

2. Successful people don't make mistakes.

Wrong, they make plenty of mistakes. They just don't repeat them.

3. You've got to work 60 (70, 80, 90...) hours a week.

It's not how MUCH of what you do, it's what you do. It comes from doing the
right thing.

4. You'll only be a success if you play by the rules.

Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Successful people often make up their own.

5. If you have help along the way, it's not success.

Success rarely occurs in a vacuum. Recognize the people who help you become
successful, there are plenty of them.

6. It takes a lot of luck to be successful.

It takes *some* luck to be successful, sure. It takes a lot more hard work,
diligence, knowledge, and application.

7. It's only success if you make a lot of money.

Money is just one of many benefits to success, but it's not guaranteed.

8. It's only success if everybody knows it.

You might make more money, fame, and accolades if everyone knows it, but, even
if you were the only one who knew it, you'd still be a success.

9. Success is a goal.
Success is a by-product of reaching your goals. It shouldn't be a goal itself.
Saying that you "want to be a success" begs the question: "At what?"

10. Once I'm successful, my troubles are over.

You may be successful, but you're not God. You'll still have the ups and downs
that you did before. Enjoy what success you achieve and live each day as it
comes.

MOVEMENTS SQUEEZE THE HEART AND KEEP THE BLOOD
CIRCULATING. THE SQUEEZING PRESSURE ON THE HEART ALSO HELPS
IT REGAIN NORMAL RHYTHM. IN THIS WAY, HEART ATTACK VICTIMS
CAN GET TO A HOSPITAL

The Power of a Positive Attitude

I am happy because I follow my thought-control programme every day. I am happy because I never quit. I am happy because every day I purify my heart by offering my heart of gratitude to the Absolute Supreme. I am happy because I know that my love of purity works wonders. I am happy because of a soulful daily prayer of mine, and that prayer is: “O Beloved Supreme, O Eternity’s Pilot Supreme, Do transform the world Starting with me, my life, my all.” I am happy because every day I cry and cry to see the Real in me. The Real in me is my oneness divine, unreserved and unconditional, with the Will of my Beloved Supreme. I am happy not because I am for my Supreme Pilot, not because my Supreme Pilot is for me, but because my Supreme Pilot eternally is. His very existence here on earth, there in Heaven, is my satisfaction. When I try to have Him for myself, I pull Him into my desire-life. But when I am for Him, I carry my desire-life into Him. In no way do I want to bind my Beloved Supreme. From now on my satisfaction, my supreme satisfaction, will lie only in my discovery of the fact that He alone eternally is.   • 2. The Value of Time The Value of Time Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening deletes whatever balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course! Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever you have failed to invest. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today. To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade. To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a pre-mature baby. To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. To realize the value of ONE DAY, ask a daily wage laborer with kids to feed. To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train. To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask who just avoided an accident. To realize the value of ONE MILLI-SECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow a mystery Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present! The 10 Things in Life That You Control Are you controlling them or vice-versa? (Inspirational) We humans spend much of our time trying to control every aspect of our lives. Unfortunately, too often we try and control things that are simply beyond our control. The list of what we can control is quite short, but once you know these 10 things you will be able to take control of your own life. 1. What you do. Your actions are yours alone. You choose to make them or not make them and you are responsible for the effects of those actions. 2. What you say. Likewise, the words you speak (or write) are also consciously chosen. Like actions, they have an impact on your life and the lives of those you contact. 3. What you think. Yes, there are some subconscious thoughts that you can't control. But the things that you really think about, your beliefs, your ideals, etc. are concepts you have chosen to accept and believe in. 4. Your work. Many people like to overlook this one, it being much easier to say "Oh, I'm trapped in my job because I don't have a degree, experience, etc." Hogwash! That's simple a way of denying one's responsibility in having chosen the job in the first place. It's your job and you chose it. If you stay (or go), that's a choice as well. 5. The people you associate with. There's a famous t-shirt that states: "It's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys." Colloquial is very often correct! Your circle can either lift you up or bring you down. You make the decision which type of friends you wish to have. 6. Your basic physical health. Much about our health is a factor of genetics, environment, and exposure. Much more of our health is simply a matter of the decisions we make about our health, such as: diet, exercise, drugs, sleep, routine physicals, check-ups, etc. 7. The environment you live in. Your house, the condition of your home, the town you live in, the amenities available to you are all things you can control, although some to a lesser degree (i.e., you decide to tolerate them or move someplace else). 8. Your fiscal situation. Having or not having enough money is a factor of what you make versus what you spend. 9. Your time. You choose how to "spend" your time and how much of your time to give to various activities. You'll never get more time than the 24 hours your given each
  • 4. day. 10. Your legacy. All your actions, words, and knowledge that you share while you are living become the gift that you leave when you are gone. Ten Misconceptions We Have About Success (Inspirational) How we think of success often determines just how successful we become. As in most areas of life, the thing that limits us the most is often ourselves. See if you have any of the hang-ups below that might be blocking you from achieving all the success that awaits you. 1. Some people can't be successful. Anybody can be successful. You have to want to... then you've got to do what it takes to achieve it. 2. Successful people don't make mistakes. DEEP BREATHS GET OXYGEN INTO THE LUNGS AND COUGHING MOVEMENTS SQUEEZE THE HEART AND KEEP THE BLOOD CIRCULATING. THE SQUEEZING PRESSURE ON THE HEART ALSO HELPS IT REGAIN NORMAL RHYTHM. IN THIS WAY, HEART ATTACK VICTIMS CAN GET TO A HOSPITAL TELL AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE ABOUT THIS. IT COULD SAVE THEIR LIVES !!!
