Education is one of the main pillars and key concerns for each society in general. In developing countries, in particular in Afghanistan, we observe a remarkable increase in enrollment in education and higher education institutions, but most of the students don't have proper access to their scores. For instance, while Kankor result is announced the vast amounts of traffic the visitors generate make the website completely down and inaccessible. Another example, There is no efficient method to access the university scores in particular for students from other provinces. Last but not least, Diploma and certification verification is a lengthy and complicated process, when graduated students apply for jobs and scholarships inside or outside of Afghanistan they are asked to provide their certificate and diploma. One of the solutions can be verification of the graduation documents through SMS. In Herat Innovation Lab 2015, Education group members under the mentorship of Abdul Rahman Sherzad chose this social and educational domain problem and within three days they designed and developed a prototype solution that enable students to access i.e. Kankor Scores Result, University Scores Result, Faculties Announcements and Events, and Certificate/Diploma Verification via SMS, Mobile and Web Applications effectively and efficiently.

Emotions play a crucial role in human-computer interaction. Emotion research in the field of human-computer interaction has only started recently and continuously evolving through the investigation and understanding of emotional effects. Thus, it forms an intelligent interaction between human and computer by responding effectively to the humans’ feelings. Emotional design generates remarkable user experiences for websites as the emotional experiences create an intense impression on our long-term memory. Recent scientific findings recommend emotional elements to be considered in designing websites as emotions influences one’s perception, conception and decision-making throughout the interaction with a website. A poorly designed user interface leads to bad user interaction while rising the users’ arousal and a displeasing user experience with a website elicits dissatisfaction emotion where consecutively results in avoidance and prevents revisit to the website. This proves the importance of emotional engagement in a website design. This research evaluated users’ emotions toward a Malaysian higher learning institution website which was designed in accordance with the standard Kansei-based web design guideline. The result justified the standard Kansei-based web design guideline for website of higher learning institutions in Malaysia.

The global explosions of the internet and direct use by individuals, organizations and Islamic scholars to spread the knowledge and events have witnessed massive growth over the years. The users refuse to use online Islamic websites as references which causes the acceptance rate of the online learning method still low. This paper presents the identifications of persuasive elements in Islamic knowledge website. The objective of this study is to identify the persuasive element using Kansei Engineering (KE) method for online Islamic knowledge website design. Therefore, Kansei words related to online Islamic knowledge were identified. After that, the Kansei words (KWs) were evaluated in order to be used as persuasive elements. Ten specimens of Islamic websites were chosen and evaluated with 30 emotions of KWs. 38 students from one of the public universities accomplished the evaluation experiment. The gathered KWs were then analyzed using multivariate analysis such as Factor Analysis to identify the persuasive elements. Based on Factor Analysis, the finding of this research revealed four main pillars which are credibility-motivated, reliability, Islamic identity and functional. The two additional pillars are updated and belief. The pillars were then compared with the persuasive elements in the previous research. Although there are some limitations and constraint during the conduct of the research, this study also contributes to the design persuasive elements for Islamic website knowledge in the future.

This study looked into effective integration of management information system (MIS) in secondary schools in Awka Education Zone in Anambra State. The study was guided by three research questions and two hypotheses tested at the 0.05 level of significance based on a descriptive survey research approach. The sampling technique adopted was purposive type in order to focus on a determined specialized number of respondents. The study’s sample size was 130 secondary school teachers. A researcher-created questionnaire was used to gather the data. The tool was rigorously evaluated by two experts. When the instrument’s internal consistency was examined using Cronbach’s alpha, a reliability value of 0.88 was found. A t-test was used to assess the hypotheses after arithmetic mean and standard deviation scores were used to analyze the data. The findings demonstrated that the MIS assists the school in managing tests, enrolments, and fees by providing different people with password protection. The findings further revealed that MIS opportunities and needs should be identified and prioritized according to educational objectives rather than technical criteria. In addition, there is no significant difference in the male and female teachers’ knowledge about MIS in secondary schools. The implications of the study were drawn and recommendations proffered.

In the past few years, a new wave of many technologies, particularly the Internet has emerged with the potential to further enhance the teaching and learning environment in higher education. Many studies in the recent years have shown that E-learning use in the classrooms has increased over the past years. However, the process of E-learning and its applications is limited in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through this empirical study, a limited research was initiated to track the perceptions of the students toward the E-learning. The results indicate an overall positive attitude towards the E-learning

While single melodic lines are simpler and more straightforward, they still allow for creativity and emotional expression. Meanwhile, the simultaneous occurrence of multiple melodic lines can create a more intricate and complex musical structure that challenges the listener's ear and engages their attention.
