• Translation: “to be”

“PLACE” to help understand. Position, Location, Action, Condition, and
Emotion.)
• Can be used in its infinitive form.
Quiero estar contento. I want to be happy.
• EX. Estoy en el café. I am in the café.
Están circa del mercado. They are near the market.

3. Ir
• Translation: “to go”
• A highly irregular verb
• Can be used in its infinitive form.
Necesito ir a la panadería. I need to go to the bakery.
EX. Voy a la playa. I am going to the beach.
Vamos al cuarto. We are going to the bedroom.
