that we have recently discovered and researched. This newsletter is free to anyone

2 Free Classes for Developing Web Pages

Here are two free online classes for learning how to create web pages. The first one
teaches you how to use and code HTML to develop your web pages, and the
second one show you how to use Microsoft Expression Web software. These

Building your First Web Page

There are a lot of easy web editors available to help you make your own web pages,
but this free HTML tutorial includes the HTML basics you need to make your web
pages from scratch. In this course, you'll create your first web page with HTML and
then publish it online. You'll also learn how to find the right HTML editor, work with
website images, and more.

This is a quick 1-page HTML Tutorial, from Brown University. It goes over the basics
of coding HTML for your web pages, as shown in the contents below. HTML (or
Hypertext Markup Language) is the actual code that web pages are written in. HTML
controls the structure of your webpage (where things are placed on the screen) as

Keynote is a flexible, multi-featured tabbed notebook, that offers a combination of

Speex and MP3 files. It allows you to rename files based on their existing tags and

etc.), manual tagging and cleaning of unwanted tags.

VisiTrax

VisiTrax reads your music CDs. Just pop in your music CDs and VisiTrax can fetch
their track titles for you automatically from the internet, using the CDDB database.
The program efficiently organizes your CDs, records, tapes, and more. You can also
name your own categories and media formats or quickly locate material with wild-
card matching. Additional features include DJ playlist, tabsheet views, integrated CD
player and an example database to get you started. This version is free for small
libraries under 1000 tracks or 100 CDs.

File Waster

File Waster allows you to protect your files from prying eyes, using secure
encryption technology. You can encrypt files or folders, combine them into secure
cabinets and optionally compress them before encrypting. FileBuddy also includes
secure file deletion, allowing you to wipe your files beyond recovery, using different
security levels.

Why do I need to install Java and how do I find out which version I have installed?

Answer:

Java is a programming language that allows programs and applications to execute
on more several operating systems, namely Windows, Linux, and Unix. You need to
have the Java runtime software installed for running these types of programs, which
may be run through your browser or outside the browser.

Sun Microsystems provides this page of all the latest Java runtime software
releases. If you have Java SE 6 Update 7, then you have the latest security fixes


and probably do not need the latest version.. To find out which Java version you
have installed, simply visit Javatester.org. You can actually have 2, or even more,
versions of Java installed, so using javatester.org is a good way to find out which
and how many versions you've got.

Don't get confused with Java versus JavaScript. JavaScript comes with all web
browsers. It allows them to present more information quicker so the user experience
is more interactive and rich.
