9. The following are opener’s step responses to a 2NT FORCING RESPONSE: 3H = 4-4-1-4 shape and 11 to 13 HCP. 3S = 4-4-1-4 shape and 14 to 15 HCP. 3NT = 4-4-1-4 shape with the singleton Ace or King of diamonds. 4C = 4-4-0-5 shape and 11 to 13 HCP. 4D = 4-4-0-5 shape and 14 to 15 HCP.
