12 Nominations Process We received a large number of applications for the four open board positions. After a thorough review of the applications, the Nominations Committee identified three basic categories: 1.  Candidates who are ineligible. IIBA Bylaws prevent anyone from being a Director of the Board unless they have been an IIBA member for at least six months. Exceptions were granted if the individual had a unique skill set that would benefit the composition of the board. 2.  Candidates who are eligible but whose qualifications are met by an existing Director. These candidates were asked to withdraw their nomination. 3.  Candidates who are eligible and whose qualifications enable a well composed board of diverse and complementary skills. These candidates were interviewed by the Nominating Committee and the slate of candidates was selected from this group. © International Institute of Business Analysis
