1. The Stanley CupTyler Parsonage
In 1915 the Stanley cup was brought about along with multiple
teams. The first team who called the cup with the first
official Stanley cup win was the Montreal Canadians in 1916.
The Toronto Maple Leafs won the cup in 1918 which led
Toronto and Montrealbattling it out for the cup for many
years. The Boston Bruins finally stepped in and stole the cup
from the two dominating teams in 1927 only for the New York
Rangers to win it in 1928. The next two teams to win the
Stanley cup were the Chicago Black hawks and the Detroit Red
Wings in 1931 and in 1934. There was a long section where no
new teams ever won the cup. The St. Louis Blues made it to
the cup 3 years in a row only to lose all three. Finally in 1974
the Philadelphia Flyers won the cup only to win another one in
1975. Many more teams joining the NHL battled for the cup
and are still battling. Still today Montreal is on top of the list
for Stanley cup wins with Toronto trailing behind.
