• This first costume will be used in the scene where Victoria
breaks up with Rhys. The look is casual and looks as though
she hasn’t made an effort, this will represent her
relationship with Rhys, in that it is a laid back relationship
where no one makes an effort. The clothes will be different
from her lip syncing look and the audience will be able to
distinguish between the two. The clothes are a simple
hoodie and jeans which our audience will be able to appeal
to as it is a popular look.
• These next two looks show her new relationship with
Marcello. Her look has changed to a nicer and smarter look
with more effort having been made. This will show that her
relationship with Marcello is more important to her and she
makes more of an effort because of this. It also shows her
clothes matching Marcello’s look as well. Again the clothing
she is wearing will appeal to the audience we have chosen
for our music video.

4. Rhys
• Rhys is going to be dressed in a casual orange top, again
showing the basic laid back theme of their relationship.
He will also be wearing a pair of jeans. This shows that
they don’t make an effort to look nice when around each
other, showing they have lost interest in the relationship.
This shows that the two are young, as they are wearing
clothing popular to the youthful audience we have
chosen for our music video, and so this will appeal to
them. This is the only costume we have for Rhys in the
music video, as it is his only scene, and this will show the
theme of their relationship ending, and the lack of effort
in the relationship from the two.

5. Amy
• Amy will have two different costumes. The first will be a white tank
top and burgundy trousers, and she will be wearing this in the scene
where she is cheating on Marcello. The tank top will show her effort
to impress Jamie, and make Marcello jealous as she is wearing
clothing that would appeal to the male gender. This is a type of
clothing that appeals to the youthful audience we have chosen for our
music video. The burgundy trousers represent anger that Amy feels
throughout the music video, firstly for her ending relationship with
Marcello, then for when she sees that Marcello has moved on.
• Her second costume is the same burgundy trousers and tank top, but
she will be wearing a leather jacket. She will be wearing this jacket
when she sees that Marcello has moved on and is now in a
relationship with Victoria. This will show that she doesn’t want to
make Marcello jealous or attract Jamie with her clothing, she is now
jealous of Marcello’s new relationship, and so the new jacket will
show this.

6. Jamie
• Jamie will only have one costume as he is only in
one scene. His costume will be a grey top and
jean shorts. This is a popular look that appeals to
our audience and people that age, and so shows
the audience a theme of style from Jamie that
would appeal to Amy’s character. His costume is
different from Marcello’s, this will show the
audience that Amy cheated as she is attracted to
people different from Marcello.

7. Marcello
• Marcello will have three costumes in the narrative. His first costume
will be black jeans, and a jumper. He will be wearing this when he
sees Amy cheating on him. This is a smart look and will contrast with
Amy’s casual, appealing look to show how different the two of them
are, though both costumes appeal to our audience. This look will
change when he is with Victoria, showing they have more in common
and that he wants a change from Amy.
• The second look will be black jeans, a black t-shirt and a blue hoodie.
He has changed to a more casual look now as he doesn’t feel the
need to impress anymore now that he is not with Amy, and shows
the audience that now he is with Victoria they have things in
common and dress alike. His clothing is popular in that age and will
appeal to our audience. It also shows the change from the two
relationships. His third look is much like the second one, but with a
green t-shirt and no hoodie. This will just again show the difference
between his two relationships.

• We will have one costume for Victoria’s lip
syncing scenes. She will be wearing a white
sleeveless top, with black leggings. The costume
is popular and stylish, which will be good as it will
appeal to the audience we have chosen for our
music video. Also it is important to have the artist
dressed in stylish and trendy outfits, as she is a
recording artist, and recording artists like to make
an effort to impress people and look nice, and to
appeal to their viewers. The stylish outfit she is
wearing will be different to the ones her
character is wearing, which will show the
audience that she is the artist of the music video.

10. Marcello
• Marcello will also only have one costume for the
lip syncing scenes. He will be wearing a black t-shirt,
black jeans and a grey blazer, again a casual
yet smart and stylish style that is popular with the
audience we have chosen. Also he is a recording
artist and so will want to dress nice to impress
people, and his style will appeal to his fans. His
style will also be different from his character’s
style to show that he is an artist, much like
Victoria, and that his character is not an artist. The
casual yet smart look we have chosen for Marcello
will also appeal to the audience we have chosen
for our music video, and we want our artists to
look smart in the music video.
