1. Art Camp
at
The Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture
This summer middle school students have an opportunity to develop their
artistic skills working on a variety of personal and group art projects. We
will be working on individual art pieces for the first part of each day. In the
second half of each day we will learn about and create art centered on a
theme. Our theme this year is Civil Rights, and we will be focusing on the
national and local events of 1963: the 50th
anniversary of the Birmingham
Church Bombing and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’ s visit to South Bend. The
Ages: 5th –8th grade (rising)
Dates: Session I - June 24-July 3
Session II - July 22-31
Time: 9am - 12pm
Cost: $12 per student
