I went to classroom teachers with my initial concept and earliest design. I consulted with them about writing line styles, fonts, paint tools and all kinds of details. I collected and compiled their requests for border and shape designs and ran the rough drafts by them. I consulted with teachers when designing my activities. Research, design, and development was a long process involving more than two years, and educators provided input every step of the way.”
