The OAuth2 Protocol used for interconnection between XCC and Smartcloud
requires each user to actively grant access from the XCC application to
Smartcloud
This grant is mandatory and cannot be done by anyone else than the user. Smartcloud and XCC
automatically detect if this grant has been permitted and asks for permission if not.
In the process of logging in to XCC for the first time, the users browser will prompt the user with a
screen asking for permission
3.3 Grant Access to XCC
You should now click the button ‘Grant
Access and Leave the Site’
If you check the "Always grant xcc access and
do not show this message again" option, the
browser will never ask you again for permission
until the grant has automatically expired
(which will be the case if you haven't used XCC
in a period of 90 days)
