This planning grant proposal outlines the initial steps to inventory, digitize, and develop search tools for the Deena Larsen Hypertext Collection. The proposal would test tools for migration, emulation and searching the digital works through user pilots. It would determine the best preservation methods for both analog and digital content in the collection and develop an integrated database with metadata to allow for preservation and access. The final deliverables would be a functional searchable online database and documentation of policies and procedures for long-term preservation.
