1. Charity Training Courses
We are delighted to offer you as a local charity or community organization the opportunity to
attend a fully funded training program leading to BTEC qualifications for your managers and
team leaders. Courses are flexible, with a mix of core and optional units that enable you to tailor
the course content to the needs of the individual and the organization, so you gain maximum
impact from the learning.
Core units are Key Principles of Leadership and Management, and Personal & Professional
Development. Optional units include:
- Appraising and developing staff
- Principles of Project Management
- Supporting Organizational Change
- Developing Working relationships with Team Members
- Managing the Delivery of Customer Service
- Coaching Skills in Team Leading and Management
Training is delivered in an interactive way, with group concerns and interests at the forefront of
each session. The objective is that each workshop and the activities that follow make a real
difference to your working life and the success of your organization.
The program includes, coaching and assessment visit to your workplace as well email and
telephone support from your trainer for your assignments. Learning materials to take and use at
work.
Courses are delivered by Alan Hester Associates and local charity BSEL, and funded by the
Skills Funding Agency. This offer is possible through access to adult apprenticeships, making
these qualifications available to anyone who is in paid employment and not already educated to
degree or QCF Level 4 standard. All you need to invest is your time and commitment, together
with the support of your workplace, and you can access a comprehensive program that would
