but not completely over Taos, New Mexico.

18. Thanks to the clouds and the path of the sun,
this is the closest we got to totality in Taos.

19. The fuzziness near the lower right corner of the moon
is caused by direct rays of sunlight shining through the
topography of the moon (craters, etc.)
Astronomers call these “Bailey’s Beads”.
