I choose goodness because
God is good to me at all
times, I choose to be as
gentle as a lamb and as
harmless as a dove so that
Christ may be seen in all
my life
2. I choose love;
I choose to love because
Nothing justifies hatred,
there is no injustice that
warrants bitterness, and
no place for offence in
me for I am forgiven
3. I choose peace:
I choose to live in peace;
I choose the peace of God
that passes all
understanding instead of
fear and its companion .
torment.
4. I choose kindness;
I choose to offer
kindness, to those who
are unkind to me, to
offer my bread to the
hungry and to give a
drink of cold water to
those that thirst.
5. I choose goodness;
I choose goodness because
God is good to me at all
times, I choose to be as
gentle as a lamb and as
harmless as a dove so that
Christ may be seen in all
my life
6. I choose faithfulness,
I choose to be faithful to
my wife so that she will
never have to question my
love and that my family
may never fear being left
father-less.
7. I choose to be
faithful;
to the high calling of Christ
for my life and not loose the
race by running in my own
strength.
8. I choose gentleness;
I choose gentleness, if I
raise my voice may it only
be to praise of my saviour,
if I clench my fist may it be
to pray, if I make a demand
may it only ever be of
myself.
9. I choose self control;
I choose self-control; I
refuse to let my dying flesh
rule the nature of God in me,
my only passion will be for
the lost and the family of
God my saviour.
10. I choose the fruits of
Gods Spirit;
love, Joy, Peace,
Patience, Kindness,
Goodness, Faithfulness,
Gentleness and Self-
control, over the fruits of
the flesh.
11. I choose the gifts of
the Holy Spirit;
So that I may reveal the
living Christ to a dying
world and bring glory to my
Heavenly Father
12. I chose to live
forgiving others;
I will forgive those who
offend me even as God
for Christ’s sake forgave me.
I will choose to love my
enemies and do good to those
who hurt me…
13. I choose to be drunk
with joy;
and not with wine, to
sow encouragement
instead of discouragement,
and peace instead of
discord
14. I choose Gods Mercy;
that’s new every
morning, his love that’s
boundless and his grace
that’s sufficient. I choose
his health, his peace and
his presence to fill my days
15. I choose Christ;
if I fail I will seek his grace
and when each day is done
I will place my head on my
pillow and rest in Christ
who calls me his beloved.
