and hung them from trees at several public locations to
monitor noise produced by overflying aircrafts.
Detection of excessive aircraft noise would cause the sensors
to trigger automated telephone calls to the airport's
complaint line on behalf of the city's residents and wildlife.

Spanish designer Jaime Hayon says he, “Loved the idea
of having the opportunity to create a humorous and
more sophisticated version of such a serious and
functional object: a plane.”
However this plane will not be seeing a runway any
time soon; this bird is made for lounging. Tucked inside
the cup shape on the top of the plane’s body is a white
leather circular couch

Angeles. Dvice says, “Peter Gronquist has jazzed up
retired rifles, chainsaws, machine guns and artillery
shells and slapped big names on them: Louis Vuitton,
Coach, Gucci — probably not the brands you think of
when you imagine a rocket launcher or an electric chair.
There’s even a Pac-Man grenade”.

The ‘Prada Prototypes’ auction features 24 pieces including dresses, skirts, bags and shoes all hand-selected by Miuccia Prada. Initially created for the catwalk, the pieces have never
appeared or been produced with the specific colour or material and some pieces have been made specifically for the auction.
The auction website lets bidders personalize the process by allowing them to include information about themselves, photo, or links to their websites. Bidders can also track the bid
history of individual pieces through a graphic chart.
