This document discusses location-based storytelling using maps as a central hub. It covers seven areas: 1) interactive documentaries that tell stories through maps, 2) using social media platforms with maps at the interface, 3) audio and soundscapes linked to locations on maps, 4) role-playing games and alternate reality games situated in real-world places, 5) public art installations that relate to the physical environment, 6) communities that share location-based information, and 7) augmented reality experiences anchored to mapped locations. The document provides examples for each category that illustrate how maps can serve as an interface to connect digital narratives and media to physical spaces.
