Energy Wales: A Low Carbon Transition

2. Engage and support businesses that help us
to achieve our low carbon ambition
Enabled organisations in Wales to achieve over £465m in direct cost
savings which will reduce their carbon emissions by over 5.9MtCO 2;
Stimulated over £83m of capital investment.
Awarded over £18m in interest-free energy efficiency loans;
Strengthened the Welsh economy in the form of jobs created or secured
through the delivery of goods and services to organisations directly
employing over 210,000 people;
Attracted over 6,100 delegates to our low carbon skills and knowledge
transfer seminars & workshops held throughout Wales.
