2. Płonące baraki na terenie obozu Auschwitz II-Birkenau zniszczone przez wycofujących się Niemców . Brzeszcze is a little town near Oświęcim. Oświęcim is a place where was KL Auchwitz Birkenau ( a concentration camp ) during the II war. Now, Oświęcim is a wonderful town with parks, colo u r streets and ordinary and nice people who know and remember tragic history of their town. There is also a museum. It is called Auchwitz Birkenau Museum. Brzeszcze was and still are closely connected with Oświęcim. During the II war there was Arbeitslager Jawischowitz, a subcamp of Auschwitz. JANUARY 1945
5. Arbeitslager Jawischowitz had been since 18 January 1945. Now, there is a park but we have still some ruins of this subcamp. There is one of the typical hut where people had to exist. They lived from day to day. There are concrete toilets
6. There is also a camp lantern. Prisons usually had rolls every day – before their work and after work. They made a superhuman effort because they wanted to live - nothing else Now there is a park and on the other side of the road there is my and my pupils block of flats.
7. This is a secondary school In front of this school there are two sculptures which were made by prisons and were situated in the main gate of Arbeitslager Jawischowitz .

9. This is a construction made of reinforced concrete. It was built by prisons. It might had been a power station "Andreas".
10. This is a monument in the park near the camp lantern. It commemorates prisons who lived, worked and died in the concentration camp Jawischowitz .
11. This was a doctor Józef Sierankiewicz who helped prisons (mothers and their children) after liberation of the concentration camp Jawischowitz. He organised a hospital for them.
12. Maria Bobrzecka – she worked in pharmacy. She helped prisons during the war. She exposed herself to mortal danger because she plant medicines on prisons to the camp. It was illegal.
