8. London British Museum It opens all year long and this is the time table: Sturday to Wednesday from 10:00 to 17:30. Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 20:30. It is closed on March 25 th .It also closes on December the 24 th and 26 th as well as on January 1 st .

Contents: The most famous objects are the Rossetta stone, the Parthenon sculptures and the remains of Sutton Hoo and Mildenhall mediaval towns, there are Egyptian mummies and the famous Portland Roman vase. The African collection is also very interesting. It is probably the largest in the world.
