The University of Salamanca has been actively pursuing international projects for over a decade through its Knowledge Transfer Office. The office assists researchers with finding partners, writing proposals, and managing projects for programs like Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+. While proposals have increased in recent years, the number of projects granted has remained steady. To meet funding goals for Horizon 2020, the office plans to intensify services and lobby efforts to help more researchers participate successfully in international opportunities.
