Canon EOS 70D
Canon EOS SLR enhances the range with a new model
designed for photo enthusiasts who want to take a step
forward
The new Canon EOS 70D combines for the first time Canon
imaging technology with powerful and creative sharing
capabilities to offer a wireless camera responsive and ideal
for all uses, able to capture the moment with stunning
images and Full HD video.
Seize the day with photos and Full HD movies
EOS 70D has a new CMOS sensor APS-C 20.2 MP, designed
and manufactured by Canon. It is the first digital SLR in the
world with the innovative Dual Pixel CMOS AF autofocus
technology, which offers auto focus precise and fluid when
shooting Full HD movies and fast when shooting in Live View
mode.
In conjunction with processor 14-bit DIGIC 5 + and 19-point
AF system, all cross, the EOS 70D captures amazing images at
full resolution up to 7 frames per second, with a burst that
reaches 65 or 16 JPEGs RAW1. In addition, the native range
ISO 100-12,800 (H: 25.600) allows photographers to shoot in
low-light conditions and use shutter speeds faster, while
maintaining high image quality.

The new autofocus Dual Pixel CMOS AF Canon offers a rapid

two photodiodes mounted within each pixel that can be read

Garmin Head-up Display
Garmin announces HUD, the first Head-up Display portable
navigation smartphone. HUD is an innovative way to view
information for navigation by car via the same projection
onto a transparent film on the windshield or on a dedicated
viewer.
HUD provides detailed driving directions projecting them at
the eye of the driver, so as to minimize the distractions and
consequently increase security. HUD receives the information
via Bluetooth to smartphones with applications or Garmin
StreetPilot NAVIGON.
HUD Garmin provides a lot more detail than any other
navigation, presenting them in a simple way that does not
distract the driver's attention from the road. The directions
are simple to follow even the most complex intersections and
in situations of increased traffic.
HUD displays directional arrows, current speed, speed limit
and estimated time of arrival. It also shows well in advance of
the lane on which to bring to properly deal with the next
maneuver and warns you if you exceed the speed limit.
HUD also reports potential delays due to traffic and the
proximity of the stations autovelox2. The precise display
automatically adjusts the brightness so that the markings are
clearly visible both under the direct rays of the sun and at
night.

HUD mostra frecce direzionali, velocità corrente, limite di
velocità e tempi stimati di arrivo. Indica inoltre con
adeguato anticipo la corsia su cui portarsi per affrontare
correttamente la successiva manovra e avvisa in caso di
superamento del limite di velocità consentito.
HUD inoltre segnala i potenziali rallentamenti dovuti al il
traffico e l’approssimarsi delle postazioni autovelox2. Il
preciso display regola automaticamente la luminosità in
modo che le scritte siano perfettamente visibili tanto
sotto i raggi diretti del sole quanto di notte.

The turn by turn voice guidance is provided simultaneously
from Garmin or Navigon app, either through the speaker of
the same smartphone, both through the car audio system of
the vehicle (if equipped with Bluetooth connection). In the

Garmin Head-up Display
Le indicazioni vocali svolta dopo svolta vengono fornite
contemporaneamente dalle app Garmin o Navigon, sia
attraverso l’altoparlante dello stesso smartphone, sia
attraverso l’impianto car-audio del veicolo (se dotato di
connessione Bluetooth). In quest’ultimo caso il sistema
provvede ad abbassare automaticamente il volume della
musica trasmessa dall’impianto stereo nel momento in cui
si rende necessario comunicare un’indicazione di svolta. A
differenza di altri sistemi di navigazione basati su
smartphone, Garmin HUD continua ad offrire le
informazioni di navigazione anche nel corso delle
conversazioni telefoniche.
HUD è di semplice installazione. Gli utenti possono
scegliere se visualizzare le informazioni direttamente sul
parabrezza, utilizzando la pellicola trasparente inclusa, o
sullo schermo rimovibile fornito di serie con il Garmin
HUD. Il dispositivo si collega automaticamente ai
dispositivi iPhone, Android phone o Windows Phone 8

Brevetto PosteMobile
The European Patent Organization (EPO), an
intergovernmental body that oversees the granting of
patents of international importance, recognized in Poste
Mobile phone operator of the Italian Post Office, the patent
for the process developed by the company that allows you to
perform banking transactions, financial and post office

("Method based on a SIM Card performing services with high
security features").
The recognition of the patent gives Poste Mobile intellectual

access codes, until the transmission of the data and the
outcome of transactions to and from the platforms banking /
finance through SMS and encrypted digitally signed.
The patent Epo addition to recognizing PosteMobile the
intellectual property of the third party system prevents the
free use and marketing of the method developed by
PosteMobile in the 34 member countries of the EPO.

apre nuovi scenari commerciali. Dal punto di vista
operativo, infatti, il sistema di invio in sicurezza di
informazioni destinate a identificare in modo certo il
mittente e il contenuto del messaggio inviato, è
applicabile da PosteMobile (e solo se autorizzati da
quest’ultima, da terzi ) anche su tecnologie e strumenti,
diversi dalla carta SIM.
Il brevetto si estende all’intero processo di
autenticazione del titolare della Carta SIM a partire dalla
fase di generazione dei codici di accesso, sino alla
trasmissione dei dati delle operazioni effettuate e
dell’esito da e verso le piattaforme bancarie/finanziarie
attraverso SMS cifrati e firmati digitalmente.
Il brevetto Epo oltre a riconoscere a PosteMobile la
proprietà intellettuale del sistema impedisce a terzi il
libero utilizzo e la commercializzazione del metodo
messo a punto da PosteMobile nei 34 Paesi aderenti
all’EPO.

NH 90 Belgium
Eurocopter delivered the first NH90 NFH (NATO Frigate
Helicopter) to the Armed Forces of Belgium, providing an
advanced helicopter, with high capacity and fully qualified to
meet the requirements of multi-role missions in the country.
In addition to being the first NH90 NFH received from
Belgium, this is also the first helicopter built at the
Eurocopter Donauwörth in Germany, demonstrating the
ability of the same to assemble and deliver these next-
generation twin-engine helicopter.
Belgium becomes the fifth country to entry into service of
the NH90 NFH after France, Italy, the Netherlands and
Norway. The helicopter recently delivered is characterized by
full operational capability (FOC Full Operational Capability),
ensuring its provision for the full range of naval missions of
Belgium, such as search and rescue (SAR) or military missions
at sea.
Belgium has ordered a total of eight NH90, including four in
NFH naval version, which will replace the Sea King helicopters
of the Belgian Navy.
The configuration of the aircraft is identical to that of the
NH90 NFH Dutch. The military forces that are currently
operating with the NH90 NFH have successfully used the
helicopter rescue missions, transport and surveillance.
For example, today more than 50 people have been
recovered by the French Navy NH90, while the Netherlands
has recently deployed its helicopters on the Horn of Africa in
support of naval operations of the European Union.

della Marina Belga. La configurazione degli aeromobili è
