1. Spring Break 2009 Our Road Trip to the Grand Canyon

2. Here is a map of where we went on our trip. We drove a total of ___ miles and ____ hours over six days. We saw Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas.

3. Our first stop was dinner at Steak ‘n Shake in Lawrenceville. The first day we drove for 26 hours all the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

4. We missed the Alabama welcome sign, so we had to take a picture with this sign instead.

5. We made it to Mississippi!

6. The kids slept all the way through Mississippi.

8. We were only driving in Tennessee for about thirty minutes.

9. The kids kept sleeping all the way through Tennessee. It was about five in the morning when we were in there.

10. It was 8 in the morning by the time we reached Oklahoma. Everyone was awake again!
