 E-GOVERNANCE-is the application of information
& communication technology which transforms
the efficiency , effectiveness & accountability of
informational & transactional exchanges

, municipal & local levels),citizens , agencies
, businesses etc. & to empower them through
access & use of information.
 ‘E-Government' -(or Digital Government) is
defined as ‘The employment of the Internet and
the world-wide-web for delivering government
information and services to the citizens.’
