- Keywords are the main words in your topic that you will use when searching! You use them all the time – every time you do a search in Google or a database, you are typing in keywords.

- 1 – specifics… like location. Adding United States or Indiana to your search will narrow things down. 2 – look at the results. Skim some articles. Do you see words used that you hadn’t thought of? Add them to your list. Give an example. 3 – similar – look for the tags applied to that article by others, these can be helpful keywords 4 – try different combinations till you find what works 5- keep trying!
