Technology helps save time in some ways but may also waste it in others. While technology assists with tasks like travel and cleaning, some new smartphone applications and overly smart technologies could potentially waste users' time and distract them from real-world interactions. Overall, technology provides benefits if used properly, but there is a risk it could start wasting people's lives if the new smart technologies get out of hand.
1. Does technology help you save time or make you waste it?
Nowadays technology handles every single action that we do, from
waking up with an alarm clock to taking a shower before you go to
sleep and that’s why many people are asking themselves if technology is
wasting our time.
I got to say that technology is helping us in so many ways but is true that
away from all the stuff that we are used to as tv, radio, cars… Now we
have other kinds of things that in my opinion we don’t even need, for
example, the new smartphones which have an application that allows
you to talk to your phone, it’s ridiculous to interact with a mobile phone
and not with the people surrounding you.
But the technology is also saving a lot of time for us so if we wouldn’t
have cars, to travel from coast to coast in Spain it would take for ever or,
for example, to clean the dishes, now instead of washing them by hand
you can put it all in the dishwasher and wait until it’s done.
Finally in my opinion technology is really good for us and it is not making
us waste or time but yes it is true that now things are getting a little bit out
of place with all the new smart technology generation and that’s the
only thing I’m scared of, that could actually make waste our time or
even worse, our lives.
