Differentiating between voice and fax calls…
• As a result, all telephone lines connected to the system can be treated as Telefax lines, thus optimally
utilizing all plans subscribed.
• Not to mention, saving the recurring cost on the dedicated fax lines is an additional plus to resource
optimization
• It also enables the organization to publicize just one number in all its media releases, making it easier for
immediate recall
• Most of the available EPABXs tend to have a long list of user codes
that are very difficult to remember thus ending up with people
not using features
• NEOS has been designed to have an inbuilt Voice Guidance
Prompts which lists all the possible options that one can
exercise for a particular event. E.g. instead of a busy tone, a normal
extension user will be told ‘For Auto Call Back, dial 4’ whereas a
senior manager will be told this plus ‘To barge-in, dial 5’.

• The system is equipped with 75 such voice prompts to ensure the user operates all features optimally
• Not to mention, due to bi-lingual provisioning (i.e. prompts in English and Hindi), it makes it even more
user friendly by allowing the user to opt for the language they are more comfortable with or can
comprehend better
• Most of the calls landing at the reception belong to frequent
callers who typically need to speak to one particular person
regularly
• To save on the reception time of transferring such repeated
calls, the NEOS is equipped with CLI based Routing for
automatic call transfers for designated extensions
Routing your calls to you instantly….
• 100 such repeated caller’s CLI numbers can be programmed in the system for direct landing on mapped
extensions without any operator intervention, thus multiplying the efficacy of the receptionist many times
over
• This is an added plus for senior management who so not wish to receive their personal / confidential calls via
the reception
• For the callers, they get instant attendance from the concerned SPOCs thus giving them a sense of
importance
• The NEOS is equipped with an inbuilt mini-CRM Software (single
user) which generates an instant popup window on the user’s
computer screen even before the call lands on his extension
• Customer details including name, number, address, etc displayed with
each Incoming Call Alert
• Call detail record of all missed, received and dialed calls with report
generation and printing facility

• Incoming Call Alerts with a list of the last 5 incoming & outgoing calls, received from or made to the calling
number, with time, date & duration details along with the summary of the call for immediate reference
• Facility to insert remarks against each incoming & outgoing call logged, as a reference for further

• The NEOS is equipped to support multiple telecom interfaces
whether it be on a standalone or a combo basis

normal Analog Trunks, GSM Trunks, PRI Lines or
even SIP Lines based on their out dialing call traffic

Choosing the right Telecom interfaces…
• The user has the flexibility to churn any of the subscribed lines without having to replace the system by
simply upgrading to the selected platform
• Facility of GSM trunks can be further capitalized on by establishing a CUG between the PBX interfaces and the
field sales and service resources for free calling
• In India, we have a different tariff structure for calls made to
landline and mobiles as well as different Service Provider
networks
• Typically, calls cost the least only if routed via the same
network
• NEOS supports Least Cost Routing wherein the system
identifies the service provider as well as the type of trunk
interface for routing the call based on the number type dialed
Directing calls via the least cost route….
• With the benefit of being able to have a combination of trunk resources, this feature further enhances the
savings by routing mobile calls via GSM network, landline calls via PRI/Analog Trunks and international calls
via SIP.
• To sum it, an organization can reduce its Voice OPEX - i.e. reduce the telephone bills – by 25-30% by just
implementing least cost routing
• Even after selecting the right combination of trunk interfaces
and implementing least cost routing, there is a need to
ensure that the chosen schemes are used optimally to ensure
there are no surprises in the telephone bill
• NEOS supports a special Extension Budgeting facility to
set out dialing budgets for every user individually. The logical
functioning is similar to that of a prepaid card with daily or
monthly validity

• It also supports Trunk Budgeting for every service provider line interfaced to ensure that the available
free/subsidized calls allowed on all lines are used completely and optimally before additional billing starts
• The respective extension / trunk is disabled for out dialing as soon as the budgets are exhausted, making the
end users start using the same judiciously
• The NEOS is equipped with Mobile Extension application
to ensure off premise connectivity to the office system
• In a PRI enabled NEOS environ, user has the facility of
mapping his mobile phone with his extension for
simultaneous ringing
• Either of the terminals can answer the call without the caller
knowing the user’s whereabouts

• This ensures that a designated user never misses the important calls whether he be in or outside office
• The user doesn’t need to disclose his personal mobile number for being accessible
• A complete record of all calls is available for scrutiny, something that is compromised when people directly
call mobile phones

• Separate bifurcation for local, STD & ISD calls available
