Innovation and changes an example
1. Introduction
The purpose of this paper is to know how innovation affects the products
and what of benefits to people and organization. Innovation is about
generating original ideas or developing new approaches to problems of
products and services. The National Innovation Initiative (NII) and IBM
Global Innovation Study (2006) define innovation as "the intersection of
invention and insight, leading to the creation of social and economic value."
Creativity encourages innovation and innovation plays a vital role in the
development of new business concepts, processes and products besides its
now play an important role in all levels and departments of a business in
establishing and maintaining a competitive advantage. Logic and linear
thinking will remain important, but are no longer sufficient to succeed in a
global economy. Many experts and futurists believe that organizations need
to place greater emphasis on right-brain functions such as artistic, big
picture thinking and the ability to conceptualise.
Creativity and innovation is a core competency for leaders and
managers. We need to teach people how to perceive the world in new ways,
to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated
phenomena, to ask important questions and to generate solutions.
Generating fresh solutions to problems, and the ability to create new
products, processes or services for a changing market and new world are
part of the intellectual capital that gives a company its competitive edge.
Creativity is a crucial part of the innovation equation.

2. Mobile phones
A mobile phone also known as a cellular phone, cell phone and a hand
phone is a device that can make and receive telephone calls over a radio
link whilst moving around a wide geographic area.
History and transformation of mobile phones
On April 3, 1973,Martin Cooper, a Motorola researcher and executive made
the first mobile phone call using a heavy prototype model. The world's first
commercial automated cellular network was launched in Japan by NTT in
1979, initially in the metropolitan area of Tokyo. In 1981, this was followed
by the simultaneous launch of the Nordic Mobile Telephone (NMT) system
in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The first 1G network launched
in the USA was Chicago-based Ameritech in 1983 using the Motorola
DynaTAC mobile phone. In 1991, the second generation (2G) cellular
technology was launched in Finland by Radiolinja on the GSM standard,
which sparked competition in the sector as the new operators challenged the
incumbent 1G network operators. In 2001, the 3rd generation (3G) was
launched in Japan by NTT DoCoMo on the WCDMA standard. This was
followed by 3.5G, 3G+ or turbo 3G enhancements based on the high-speed
packet access (HSPA) family, allowing UMTS networks to have higher data
transfer speeds and capacity.

3. Factors
Because of the size of mobile phones in earlier are big and have
cable, nowadays innovation changes this mobile phone into smaller,
light and handy so that it’s easy to carry out that can make people
easier to bring everywhere and anytime.
As technology has advanced, mobile phones have continued to be
one of the leading providers of social media, as well as social
interaction. From phone calls, to texting services, to voice calls,
mobile phones have arisen as one of the most prominent forms of
communication.
Through technology increases, now mobile phones can connect to
the internet and many functions such as radio, games, cameras and
etc.
In the industry, mobile phones are on high demand in the first of its
production, competitors changing the functions, the size and add
more value to the mobile phones. For example, Ericson joint venture
with Sony for making a mobile phones and use their strategy to
attract customers.
Way forward
For the future, mobile phones can be an advanced such as having all
functions. For example, added up functions of sensors, can be identification
device and can be Hologram screen to attract people. Besides that, it can
develop of solar cell, environmentally friendly, but also increase the use of
mobile phone time. Furthermore, mobile phones can develop of mini mobile
phone that can make a woman wear in the ear of the mobile phone.

4. Conclusion
People must appreciate the innovative ideas because it can bring good
effects to the world. Innovations can be presented either tangible or
intangible. What I learn from this task, it giving me wide knowledge of
innovation and the impact to the society. From my research, earlier mobile
phones is big and overweight, 1 kg and short life time of battery but now
through the innovative idea that be implemented, it can have a small mobile
phones, light and handy with many functions that benefits to society. This is
proves that innovation is important in our world.
