(San Antonio, TX) Evergreen Exhibitions is touring their iPad app, MathAlive!, created by Sweb Develop-
ment. The app had its worldwide premiere at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. and is currently
featured at the Space Center Houston in Houston, TX until May 5th.
The MathAlive! exhibit is designed to inspire and spark the imagination of visitors on all the possibilities of
math. The iPad app, paired with the exhibit, brings to life the various math concepts and their daily uses for
families and students.
Space Center Houston allows visitors a variety of ways to explore and operate a variety of simulation
directly related to NASA operations. These include:
• NASA’s latest robotics such as the Robonaut 2 and Curiosity Rover
• Test your engineering skills on a large scale eco-friendly developments
• Take on engineering roles as you design a sustainable infrastructure for a city
The MathAlive! app is located in the “Build Your World…Environment” section of the exhibit. The purpose
for the exhibit, as described on their site, is to answer the question, “Will I ever use all this math they’re
teaching us?”
“It was so exciting to work on a project that would educate kids about how science and math are applied,
because science and math are what we do all day! We are so happy to be a part of making it happen,” said
Magaly Chocano, Founder & CEO of Sweb Development.
