Los cuartos de la casa y los muebles is a 29 page booklet of handouts and worksheets
designed for elementary school students in grades 2 – 5.
Page 1 introduces rooms of the house vocabulary with photographs: el dormitorio, el baño,
la cocina, el comedor, la sala, el patio trasero.
Pages 2, 3, and 4 have fill in the missing letters practice exercises. The words are associated
with clip art images.
Pages 5 and 6 are matching activities: the image is matched with the word.
Pages 6 and 7 provide write the word practice. The words are associated with images.
Page 9 introduces furniture vocabulary with photographs: una cama, un lavabo, una estufa,
una mesa, un sillón, un columpio.
Page 10 reviews the vocabulary on page 9 with clip art images.
Page 11 has an exercise where the student chooses the correct word from a group of words
in order to match an image.
Page 12 introduces more furniture vocabulary with photographs: una lámpara, un espejo,

Page 13 reviews the vocabulary on page 12 with clip art images.
Page 14 is a match the word activity similar to page 11.
Pages 15 and 15 have practice with questions and yes/no answers.

Page 24 introduces chores around the house.
Page 25 reviews the chores vocabulary in question and answer form.
