4. Our observation & constraints in SRI Up scaling .
• SRI require skill on Nursery raising, Land preparation,
transplantation, water management, Social mobilization &
demonstration our tribal lack the skill & knowledge.
• Limited linkages with government main stream programme
• Lack of farmers incentives in the program me , reduced
effectiveness in SRI up scaling .
• Farmer perceive SRI require more lab ours.
• Timely careful transplantation more then family labour .
• Non availability of sufficient organic manure.
• Government supply weeder is difficulty for women.
• SRI require water management , flooded water and dray
spell affect production.

Implementing system will be fruitful by the NGO/GO
through schemes like ATMA, state
plan, RKVY, NFSM, MGNREGA, tribal sub plan & KBK
Fund support.
Intensive capacity and skill building of CRP & Staffs'
Promotion of large scale Organic manure through
mainstream government programme.
Create institutional mechanism at community as well as
GP level.
Combined focus effort on SRI to bring momentum in
the communities.
