8. 61 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are
bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
9. • Pinuspos ako ni Yahweh ng Kanyang Espiritu.
Hinirang Niya ako upang ang magandang balita’y
dalhin sa mahihirap, pagalingin ang sugat ng
puso, palayain ang mga bihag at bilanggo. Sinugo
Niya ako, upang ibalitang ngayo’y panahon nang
iligtas ni Yahweh yaong mga tao na hinirang Niya,
At upang lupigin lahat ang mga kaaway;
• Ako ay sinugo upang aliwin ang nangungulila,
upang ang mga tumatangis na mga taga-Sion ay
paligayahin, sa halip ng lungkot, awit ng pagpupuri
yaong aawitin; Ang Diyos na si Yahweh iingatan
sila at kakalingain. Sila ay uunlad na parang
halamang itinanim, at ang bawat isa ay pawang
matuwid ang Siyang gagawin, at sa Kanyang
ginawa, Siya’y pupurihin”
