This document provides information about innovation and the innovation process. It discusses types of innovation including push, pull, and technology innovation. It then describes an industrial design company that has been in operation since 1993 with a diverse team working on product design, branding, structural design, packaging, and research. The company uses various types of research and an iterative design process moving from research to identification to modeling to prototyping to manufacturing. Examples are given of medical device projects the company has worked on that have gone through this innovation process.
