Blogs are usually maintained by an individual with regular
entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other
material such as graphics or video
Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological
order
Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or
add content to a blog
Most blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave
comments and even message each other
7. Why RSS? Benefits and Reasons for using RSS
RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you
to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are
interested in
You save time by not needing to visit each site individually
You ensure your privacy, by not needing to join each site's email newsletter
The number of sites offering RSS feeds is growing rapidly and includes big
names like Yahoo News

•An audio presentation such as radio
show, audio from a movie, or simply
personal audio presentation. Stored as
an audio file and posted to the web.

media files that are released
episodically and
often downloaded through web
syndication. The word
replaced webcast in common use with

the rising popularity and innovation

The term wiki derives from the “wiki wiki “ means fast and quick.
The most well-known wiki is Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia that
contain over 2 million English language articles on a verity of topic.
