5. These three radio trailers are different in their own ways
depending on the target audience their appealing to, both
adverts use music to set the atmosphere however the Snickers
advert does not this is breaking the norms of a radio advert
however this advert is more serious so music wouldn’t “fit in” with
the advert. All the Adverts are around the 30 second length this is
due to the product being introduced immediately . The sound
levels vary with different adverts depending on the subject so the
“Dogs Trust “ sound levels are low as it’s a sad topic but the
“Coke Cola” sound levels are high as they want the product to
portray happiness.
Sound effects are used to keep the listeners interested to create a
certain atmosphere . Sound effects are used in all of the adverts
for example sound bites “owner calling the dog” this allows the
listeners to indicate what they should expect from the advert.

6. What I have learned & what we
will include in our radio advert
From this research I have learned that radio adverts lasts about 30 seconds
there for when I create my own ours will conform to the convention to be
the length of 30 seconds no longer no shorter, radio adverts usually also
have voiceovers and speak with an English accent and speaks very clearly
as it’s important for attracting the target audience , so we will use a
voiceover which can be clearly understood. I have also learnt that music is
used to create the advert memorable , will take this into consideration as
adding music would make the advert seem less boring or like a speech.
