experience reduced infant mortality by

experience reduced rates of low birth
weight.

7. According to NACHC, CHCs reduce
overall healthcare costs and save the
Medicaid program as much as 30
percent while still delivering high quality
care to their Medicaid patients.

8. A recent study found that federally
funded community health centers
perform equal to or better than private
practices on a number of quality-care
measures.
